Scottsdale Pavilions, when it was built in 1989, was one of the first retail centers of its kind for the city and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. It quickly became a destination for residents of Scottsdale and other surrounding communities. Today, while still well-visited, De Rito Partners Development believes Scottsdale Pavilions holds much more potential and, in collaboration with the surrounding communities, plans to restore it.

Under the control of De Rito Partners Development Inc., De Rito Partners will invest more than $11 million into the property in the first phase and initiate a community outreach program.

The first phase, which will begin this year, will include:
• Resurfacing the parking lots
• Removing the dip at the intersection of Indian Bend and Pima Roads
• Updated landscaping
• Updated exterior color scheme
